Graduate Engineer and Business Economist Peter Muller (51) has taken over the position of Marketing/Managing Director of the Artega GmbH & Co. KG on October 1st 2010. His predecessor was Dr. (Eng) Wolfgang Ziebart (61) moved onto the advisory board which until then had solely consisted of members of the Mexican investors. Furthermore he is intrinsically involved with the development of an electric version of the Artega sports car.
Since the take over of Artega by Tresalia Capital, Peter Muller assumed the appointment of CDO, a post which he had formally shared alongside Wolfgang Ziebart. Peter Muller boasts a through knowledge of the automobile market; from 1985 until 1996 the (now) 51 year old worked for Porsche AG amongst others as head of product management and also acted as project manager for the distribution of the Boxster model along with the (then) new generation 911. From 1996 -1998 he was responsible for the Company’s marketing as well as Public Relations. Afterwards he moved to BMW AG where he was employed as manager for Market, Product and Price Strategy, forming part of the company’s senior management team. From 2002 onwards Muller became a member of the board of Directors for BMW motorrad, during this appointment his responsibilities ranged from marketing and distribution to development and management of the model series.
Dr (Eng) Wolfgang Ziebart has spent all his professional life working in the automobile sector. From 1977 to 2000 he worked for BMW AG in a variety of managerial positions and as a member of the management board. Latterly he was made responsible for the Research and Development section. From 2000 until 2004 he was a member of the management board at Continental AG where he spent three years as acting deputy manager. He then moved to Infineon Technologies AG where he was appointed Chairman.
