2. Collection and retention of personal data and nature and purpose of use

a) While visiting the website

When retrieving our website, the browser used on your terminal device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is stored temporarily in a so-called log file. The following information is captured without your involvement and is stored until automatic erasure:

For questions of any kind, we offer you the option of contacting us through a form provided on our website. Entering a valid email address is necessary here, so that we know from whom the inquiry originates and in order to enable us to answer it. Further information can be entered voluntarily.

Data processing for the purpose of establishing contact with us pursuant to Art. 6 (1) Clause 1 lit. a GDPR is based on your voluntary consent.

3. Forwarding data

Your personal data will not be transmitted to third parties for any purposes other than those listed below.

We forward your personal data to third parties only if:

  • You have granted your express consent to do so pursuant to Art. 6 (1) Clause 1 lit. a GDPR,
  • forwarding is necessary pursuant to Art. 6 (1) Clause 1 lit. f GDPR to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims and no reason exists to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in nondisclosure of your data,
  • a statutory disclosure obligation exists pursuant to Art. 6 (1) Clause 1 lit. c GDPR, and
  • this is permitted by law and necessary pursuant to Art. 6 (1) Clause 1 lit. b GDPR for processing the contractual relationship with you.

4. Cookies

We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small files automatically created by your browser, which are stored on your terminal device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, or similar) when you visit our website. Cookies do not harm your terminal device, they do not contain viruses, Trojans, or other malware.

a) Tracking tools

We also use tracking tools to capture the use of our website statistically and in order to evaluate such for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you. These interests are deemed to be legitimate in terms of the above-stated regulation.

b) Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. Pseudonymized user profiles are created in this context and cookies are used (see Clause 4 above). The information generated by the cookie concerning your use of this website, e.g.

In particular, you have the right to request information concerning processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to which your data was or will be disclosed, the planned retention period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data insofar as such were not collected by us, and of the existence of an automated decision-making process including profiling and, if applicable, concise information concerning such details;
  • pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR to immediately request correction of incorrect or completion of your personal data stored by us;
  • pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR to request erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless processing is necessary to exercise the right to free speech and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or to assert, exercise, or defend against legal claims;

7. Right to object

Insofar as your personal data is processed based on legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) Clause 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR to object to the processing of your personal data insofar as reasons exist that arise from your particular situation or the objection is against direct advertisement. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which will be implemented by us without disclosure of a particular situation.

8. Data security

Within your visit of the website, we use the common SSL method (Secure Socket Layer) combined with the respective maximum encryption level supported by your browser. Generally, this is a 256 bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256 bit encryption, we instead use 128 bit v3 technology.
